Where’s my confession?

If your confession has not been published, it is either in the queue (give us up to a month for it to publish), Tumblr has either eaten it, or a similar confession has already been made. We publish everything we get. Please wait at least a month before submitting it again.

What if my confession contains a spoiler to a recent episode?

No worries, if your confession contains spoilers, it will be held off at least two weeks after the episode airs before it is published.

What do you consider a confession?

Anything related to the show, the actors, the writers, or (depending) the fandom. We will not publish confessions about other confessions.

How many confessions can I submit?

As many as your little heart desires! (although the ask box will block you out after a while…) But no repeats, please!

What if my confession concerns a certain episode?

If your confession concerns a certain episode, please tell us specifically which one (S_E_ or episode name) so we can use proper screen caps.

What if I don’t want my name published with my confession?

Then you are in good hands, because we never publish the sender’s name with their confession.

Will anyone know that I confessed my confession?

We only discuss the confessions with each other, so you will not need to worry that anyone will know the sender’s identity other than the two of us making your confessions.

What if I have spelling or grammatical errors, logic problems, missing details, or swears in my confession?

Spelling and grammatical errors will be fixed, logic problems will be attempted to fix (although, it’s harder to fix these if you send in anonymously, because then we can not ask you personally what you meant), missing details will be filled in (i.e. character names, etc), and swears will be censored as we see fit.

What if my confession is inappropriate?

We will confer to decide how inappropriate it is, and will decide together. Keep in mind, we do try to keep this blog family-friendly.

Will you add me to your ‘Other Confessions Blogs’ page?

We would be happy to add you! Just message us in the ask box asking us nicely to promote you and we’ll slip you onto the page! One thing: we’d like to be added onto your promoting page also. We’ll promote you, but we’d like to be promoted in return.

Mentalist Confessions has been running since August 1st, 2011.

We wrote these about each other, to show you guys how well we know each other.

Name: Amber (You may also call me your highness… or Goat Boss.)

Hobby: Writing. Running multiple amazing blogs. Fangirling over life. Being Amber. Loving the goat. Skyping with Devon. Chillin’. (this is all correct, but you forgot “being antagonistic.”)

Favorite Character: Goat (hehe. My favorite character is between Lisbon and Rigsby. However, the goat is a close third.)

Favorite Guest Star: Brooke Harper (the goat… Sophie Miller…)

Favorite Episode: Russet Potatoes (I also like Bloodshot- the episode in which everything can be shipper, or appreciated-, Red Badge- because crazy!Lisbon is who I am on a regular basis-, and Blood Money- the episode where goat appreciation becomes borderline straight jacket required-)

Character that resembles: the non-existent love child of Rigsby and Van Pelt (…this is true. However, I do not ship them… so… my parent cannot be together, yet they can have me. ): )

Name: Devon (I was really relieved she got this correct.)

Hobby: Writing. Fangirling. Loving Robin. Acting. Loving Robin. Being awesome. Loving Robin. Fangirling. (my life.)

Favorite Character: Lisbon.

Ship: Jane/Lisbon… she also likes to ship Lisbon/self (yup.)

Favorite Guest Star: Brooke Harper (nope, both from this season! Henry Thomas and Kelli Williams.)

Favorite Episode: It would either have to be Red Badge or 4x06 (Red Badge is right! But not 4x06, if there was another one I’d have to say Bloodshot.)

Character that resembles: The cute as a button, Teresa Lisbon! (v. flattered!)
